Sharepoint Administration Toolkit SP2010 (SAT)

Application was implemented because Sharepoint administrator often addsolution/deploy/upgrade/retract. Those commands must be frequently executed from command line, especially when install of more packages is provided. That's why we implemented application, which automate mentioned commands. Application displays installed packages well-arranged. It run test requirements before solution deployment.

Application features:

install of new solution - enables to install a new WSP package. User simple selects which packed want to install. In next step he selects application web from the list and presses OK. That is all, SAT tool does his job.
upgrade of existing solution - enables to update existing WSP package. User just select file and presses OK. The application verifies data by executing dependency test and make the upgrade.
download solution from server - very useful feature in case you need to install package to other server, but you are not sure, which version is already installed. User can download package to his machine easy from the server in one click.
remove solution from server - feature enable to remove package from whole farm
well-arranged view of all installed solutions - application displays list of current installed solutions, their status and description information.
view features in solution - application enables to display complete list of features in selected solutions. There is detailed info for each feature such as scope, title, version and visibility.
usage view for server/web applications - application displays information about current usage of package in well-arranged form. It displays servers a their web applications where deploy of package has been done
